Into the Mystic

Rest in Peace, Teddy. The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die.

And the dream WILL come true! Teddy showed us how to fight, both in his lifelong quest for social justice and in his battle against cancer.

We must endure as he endured, and fight as he fought. Always.

If only he'd had ten more years in him.
Edward Moore Kennedy was one of the last true friends that labor, the poor, children, educators and the unions had in government.

Americans would do well to remind themselves that this is what it means to be a Liberal. Stalwart, strong-minded, principled.

Well put and thoroughly accurate, SJ. As Gwendolyn H. Barry says, it's nice to have a few of us unapologetic liberals still around. We remain as fair-minded and forward-looking as ever, and that definitely includes your compatriot, Mycue23, as well! What both of you write is uplifting and inspiring to me, and I thank you for it. Keep up the fight, guys!

@Jack,
Thanks for the encouragement. I'm eager to see who steps up to the plate in Kennedy's absence now that so much seems possible.
